[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off, the moment I took it out of the packaging. the seat felt so plush, soft, and premium. I loved how the seat is designed. It curved and contoured at the right places to give maximum comfort and ease of sitting, especially for longer trips. The fabric is soft, non-irritating, and machine- washable, which is a must with kids. On top of that, it's safe to throw it in the dryer, which is super convenient. The seat is lightweight and I loved the little touch of a cute handle that comes with it. Usually, my kids carry it from one car to another and this seat makes it easy for them to carry it. The color-coded belt design is a nice idea, and does help my kids where the seat belt has to go. It's not enough to just tell them, I've realized a visual really helps them with this. Overall, I've had other seats before, this one feels a bit better, a bit more premium, a bit more padded, and a bit more comfortable than others. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a really convenient, lightweight and easy to use booster seat. The first thing I noticed was how lightweight it is. The built-in handle makes it really easy to switch between cars and it’s light enough that even my child can carry it. Not only is it lightweight, but it’s also very slim and is great if you have a compact car. This booster seat is also really comfortable for my child. The seat is nicely padded and the contoured seat makes it comfortable to sit in, even for long car rides. My child has not complained once and she loves how there are two cup holders to hold her drinks and trinkets. The cup holders pop out easily to they are easy to clean, which is a plus. I also appreciate how the cover is machine-washable. My daughter is messy and likes to drink and snack in the car, so being able to toss the cover in the washer and dryer just makes life easier. The color-coded belt guide was a bit confusing for me based on reading the manual. I ended up watching a video online and was able to figure out how to use it, but we ended up not needing to use it. Overall I am happy with this booster seat. It’s lightweight, compact, comfortable and super easy to move from one car to another. We have a few different boosters already (high back and backless) for our 10 and 8 year old children. The UpNGo has a number of features that make it stand out in the mix. It’s definitely lightweight and easy to just toss into the back of the car or into a seat quickly (like when we’re handing off a seat to a grandparent or babysitter for one-time use). The colored indicators are a nice touch - it can be hard to remember all the ins and outs of different seats, especially if you’re switching between options. The guides make it really clear how to use. The two cupholders are nice. Heads up that they do taper narrower at the bottom - we were able to shove a 25oz water bottle partially in, but it didn’t go all the way to the bottom. Admittedly, I was expecting to put this into the rotation as an ‘extra’ - like when I’m carpooling with an extra kid or lending it to a caregiver. But my 10yo was really impressed with how comfortable it was. He now prefers it to his usual seat! I can’t really complain because it’s machine washable and dryer safe - I love kid products that stand up to the wear and tear that should kind of be expected. And it works well in his captain’s seat…Or to throw in the third row if we’re driving with an adult I don’t want to make climb in the back. (Though its reasonably narrow I don’t think it would fit the middle seat in our third row though - but frankly few booster seats would) All in all this is a great add to our options, one that I expect will be a go-to above others! So glad I got to try it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This booster is perfect for traveling. It is extremely lightweight and easy to carry around. There is a contoured plastic handle which with a large clip or strap could attach to a suitcase easily. The cover is simple to remove and relatively easy to put back on. It has held up well and still looks quite clean with just regular usage and wiping down. But it als can be fully washed when needed. The cupholders snap in and out, but seem sturdy. I likely wouldnt trust them snapped in if I had it attached to a suitcase. Without the cupholders the width is quite small, only 17" (measuring arm to arm), so easy to fit in a bench seat with other kids and/or other narrow carseats/boosters. My daughter had no trouble getting in and buckling her seatbelt, but she is very used to boosters at this point. I do think for kids newer to using a booster the color guide of where the seatbelt should go could be helpful. The only drawback, which is not surprising, is my daughter did feel that overall it was not as comfortable as her usual booster and for that reason we now use this as an extra booster to throw in the trunk for an unexpected extra kid or to take on vacations where we do not expect to be in a car for a prolonged period of time. For day to day use or for a longer car trip, I would stick with her larger more padded booster. I was given this booster to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and I am glad I did. It has become a great addition to our booster seats and has come in handy multiple times since having it over the past month. Takeaway - this is a perfect lightweight easy to travel with booster which I would highly recommend.

My kiddo is 6 but is short for his age so he will most likely be in a booster seat for a few more years. This UpNGo Backless Booster seat is the perfect, sleek upgrade to a new booster seat for him. The lightweight design and easy-carry handle makes this seat so easy to take out when we need to switch it between cars. My child was happy with the color coded features to help him buckle himself. He is happy and comfortable in this seat and he loves that there are two cup holders included, instead of just the one that he had on his previous seat. The cup holders themselves are well-designed and snap out for easy cleaning (which is why there is only one cup holder pictured). The material is padded very generously and while we haven’t had to wash it yet, I love that the fabric is safe to machine wash. Overall, I would definitely recommend this seat to anyone looking for a comfortable booster seat option that is sleek in its design and easy to use.

I loved that I could use the color coded areas to explain where the seatbelt strap needs to go when she buckled. We also moved it between our vehicles a bit and it was easy for her to grab it with the built-in handle and lightweight build. We had a few snack spills on the booster and I was able to easily wipe the material clean with a wet cloth. The fabric was also easily removable and washable - always a plus! I loved the simple, clean design of it that limited the opportunity for crumbs and dirt to collect in crevices. This is the first car seat she's had that has cup holders (removable, so easy to clean out too!) - she absolutely loved being able to easily access her water bottle in one cup holder and her snack cup in the other cup holder. Which actually isn't necessary because of the weight, but if you have to carry multiple things it makes it very convenient. I like that the material is washable and since it's just a booster, it's very easy to remove and put on. My favorite thing about the seat is that it's built to fit larger kids more comfortably. It's nicely padded and the seat is fairly wide. It's also not very thick so the kids will have a lower profile in the back. My kids have another booster for every day use but this will be replacing our "travel" booster that we use on trips or for guests that need one.

Our very tall child outgrew his Chicco MyFit and we needed a booster for a 57” tall child. We needed a narrow seat to fit into our Subaru Ascent 2nd row center seat. You DO have to have a headrest in whichever position you place this booster seat. It took a couple of rides for our child to adjust from a high back booster to a backless booster, but he likes this seat. The cup holders are nice, full size cupholders. He is happy to have two cupholders. He stated that it was as or a little more comfortable than his Chicco seat. Very easy to install and to buckle. We went without rigid latches in case they didn’t line up with the latch receivers in our car. Highly recommend! We went on a longer trip over the weekend and no complaints! Great price point compared to other options for kids over 57” tall.

The seat is padded enough to be comfortable on longer rides, and I love that the cover can be safely machine washed. It's amazing to be able to worry less about spills. I also appreciate how easy it is to move from one vehicle to another between the light weight and easy install. It has a carry handle as well; not an essential feature for me but nice to have. The slim/narrow profile is great for fitting kids 3 across, but unfortunately not great for comfort. My son is towards the center of the listed weight range for the seat, and it felt like he didn't have much extra growing room side to side. It is easy to move between cars for when she’s going in friends’ or family cars. The fabric quality seems good and I think it will be durable, though we’ve only been using it for 2 weeks so far. I’m also grateful the cover can go in the wash because the kids usually make a mess of their seats, but I haven’t tested that feature yet. The design is very simple so if you’re looking for something with a lot of bells and whistles this probably isn’t it, but I feel confident with a Britax product that it will serve its purpose of providing safety and will last us many years.

This has been the perfect booster for my 6 7 year old who often goes to his grandparents. If my son and mom think this is easy to use- it’s truly a win! The pros: extremely lightweight, but sturdy and durable. My son can carry this himself with no issues and even knows how to put it in the car. It fits nicely in both our small sedan and large SUV. It seems very sturdy and has more contour than other boosters we have seen. For comfort my son says it’s 5 stars as well! We have not had to wash it yet, but the cover is easy to take on and off, so I imagine cleaning to be a breeze. There are no cons! It’s a great sturdy booster that is especially convenient and easy to switch from car to car. The only thing is that while it boasts being color coded for ease of use for the child, I feel like it’s easy to use with or without the color guide. So that’s still a win either way. This is a great, practical seat that lives up to its name.

I love that it’s lightweight and slim in design which is so helpful when you’ve got multiple kids in a back seat or a smaller space, and for transferring between vehicles! It’s far less bulky than others we’ve had and my daughter can get herself buckled in without my help, which we both love! She loves the fit and comfort of this seat. The color on the handles is helpful to indicate where the belt should go when getting buckled in. It’s super easy to wipe clean or to pop the cover off and throw in the wash. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is because of the cupholders being smaller. Certain water bottles don’t fit in them, but that’s all car seats and is certainly not a dealbreaker for us. Also, the fact that it can go in the washing machine AND the dryer is such a unique and helpful feature! No more goldfish crumbs permanently encrusted in the fabric. The double clip-on cupholders are also convenient for snacks on the go. My favorite feature is the portability of the seat. We were racing to church and had forgotten to install my son's regular car seat, so we just grabbed this quickly and put it in the car. We will definitely be using it after sports practice when a friend brings my son home. It's lightweight enough that he can carry it himself and the built-in handle makes that easy. One downside for our family is that it doesn't clip into the car. I think this could be an advantage depending on what you are looking for. For us, we don't usually switch car seats between cars and prefer a clip-in seat, but if you need to switch often this is definitely an advantage. Once installed, the seatbelt wasn't hitting my son at the right spot, so having the shoulder belt adjuster is really helpful and makes it safe for him to use. However, the instructions are a little tricky to understand and implement. Overall, this is a great booster and I would recommend it due to its lightweight portability and ease of cleaning. Our 6-year-old daughter needed something more substantial but we still needed something easy to change between the minivan and SUV. This is great! It’s really lightweight. It has optional cup holders on each side (which is nice because we only need them in one vehicle. It has an easy handle on the back so it could be taken on a vacation too! Also - the fabric is not only comfortable (our daughter comments on this often) it is also machine washable which is a must for the accidents that happen all the time. I am currently using it for my 8 year old daughter, and she prefers it over the other brand she was previously using, which kind of tilted her up and back in an odd way. So she is definitely more comfortable and happier in this one. It is also a great option to have as an extra booster seat to switch between cars or have stored away in the trunk as a back up for when we are driving her friends, as it is small and lightweight. I love the fact that the fabric is removable and washable, but I love even more the fact that it is free from flame-retardant chemicals sprayed on it. The one confusing issue we had was I didn’t understand the picture from the instruction booklet about what is NOT safe placement for the shoulder strap. Both the placement in the yes picture and the no picture looked the same to me. But the shoulder strap clip was easy to hook up and use, and it worked better than another brand’s clip I tried previously. When it came time to move everyone into backless boosters, the UpNGo ended up being a great fit for our family. It’s the lightest feeling booster we tried—I can easily lift it with a single finger! My son wanted to help with the install, and it was no problem for him to carry it from the house to the car. It also transferred seamlessly from one car to the other when we used it to transport a kiddo for a playdate. One of my favorite features is the removable cupholders. While cupholders are extremely handy, they can also make seats too wide for our vehicle. I appreciate that the cupholders on the UpNGo were simple to remove. I could easy stow them away in the hall closet and attach them for longer road trips in the van, where the kids can spread out a bit more. I am also grateful that the fabric easily detaches from the seat for easy clean up and washing---many car snacks are consumed in our vehicles! This model of the UpNGo does not have latches to connect the booster to the car’s metal anchors. I do typically look for this feature in a booster and might consider upgrading to Graco’s UpNGo model that includes these latches. The latches aren’t needed for booster seat safety, though, and their absence does make this version of the UpNGo more sleek for travel. The UpNGo Backless Booser checks the boxes that my husband and I were looking for in a booster seat and am grateful to have received it through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. We recommend it without reservation, especially for people looking for a comfortable and lightweight booster for travel!
