A humourous story that also has very deep and powerful moments.
Born a Crime is a very good book that shows a ton of humor, history, and personal stories. Trevor Noahs journey growing up and being "born a crime" because of his mixed race that wasnt allowed back then is very saddening but is very inspiring how he handled everything. Trevor Noah adds a lot of his wittiness to this story and adds deep reflections on the struggles he had to face like race, and identity. This story really shows the history of South Africa. This book is very educational and also very engaging because of the humor aspects Trevor Noah added. When I first received this book I didnt want to take breaks because it was just that good. I had a couple good laughs in some of the darkest moments in the book because of Trevor Noahs humour. In the end I really recommend this book

Loved this book!
This book is so fascinating and well written. Trevor Noah's life story is very interesting, but I also enjoyed how much I learned about South Africa. I have given this book to several people as presents because I enjoyed it so much!

Great book! Well written with stories that are sad, but still warm. The price is right at Target when compared to other venues.
