Awesome bowl

I just opened this as a Christmas present for myself and I’m already in love with the ceramic of the bowl and the chop sticks feel great!

Chopstick hole makes it prone to spills

The design of this bowl is cute, but not very functional. The hole in the side near the top that is intended as a chopstick rest makes the bowl prone to spills. I made instant ramen using the standard amount of water, and the broth came right up to the edge of the hole. Moving the bowl at all could easily cause the broth to spill out through the hole. This design is questionable for a bowl made specifically to hold soup. If there were two notches at the top for the chopstick rest instead of one notch and a hole on the other side, it would be much better.
