Picky Eater Special Needs

My recently diagnosed diabetic 13 year old kitty needed to have a high protein lower carb food option. She’s very picky and wouldn’t eat the prescription cat food. After searching for other options, I tried this and she loves it and it’s not too bad on her blood sugar. She likes all the flavors so far - chicken, salmon, and duck. Quality seems to be good too. This particular brand of cat food seems to be healthier than most. But, something about it retracts my cat from eating it. Yes, cats are known for being finicky and perhaps that's what's happening here. When I bought the original can of salmon flavor, he seemed to enjoy it initially. His taste eventually waned and he wouldn't finish the rest of the can. I then purchased a different flavor, chicken .... he had a few bites but didn't want anything more to do with it. he normally doesn't eat one particular brand bc he likes them all generally speaking.. as long as they're pate. I bought this for the healthier ingredients.

My cats overall happiness with what he is eating

My cat loves blue buffalo duck pate canned cat food, when I shop for groceries he knows that he Is going to get his ducks in a row. He cleans his plate every time and I don't mind paying more for better higher quality food when my cat likes it so much.

duck recipe canned and dry

the duck recipe canned food stopped my adult cat from licking fair size patches of fur from his belly and leg.Cats can be alergic too other common protein sources. This duck recipe saved my cat from going through steroids and other various expensive and uncomfortable methods of diagnosong allergies. Now we use duck only in canned and dry for all our cats. Excellent product. Only complaint is we need larger cans than 3 oz. Thank you!

Only kind they eat!

Pate is thick and a bit chunky. It smells good and our cats love it. I use this as a treat and only one of three started eating it, now all three run to it when I put down the plate. You need to use a spoon and chop it up a bit, but they lick the plate clean every time!

Excellent

Over a year agoOver a year ago, our cat was weak and unwell. Despite multiple visits, the veterinarian couldn’t identify the problem and suggested running several tests. After doing some research, I decided to try duck-flavored wet food. It turned out to be the only food my beloved kitty could keep down. She went from being frail and lethargic to energetic and healthy. I truly believe this choice gave my cat a second chance at life.
