I've purchased these notebooks several times, and they're superior to anything I run across here locally. Specifically, the Optik paper takes ink exceptionally well with no feathering or bleedthrough. The A5 size is especially handy for carrying in my bag when I'm on the go. I prefer the hardcover because it offers a nice writing surface even when I'm not at a desk. The paper itself is the star of the show!

Makes a great distinctive place to keep the information I need from time to time.

I've ordered these notebooks many times for my Senior Plant Manager and they were always the hard cover as described. These were soft and cheap, I hesitate to give them to him as I know he won't like them. I don't understand why the product name and description remain the same as before, but the product itself is totally different. False advertising?

Quality product that I found while working for a company. I have since purchased these on my own for personal use. All writing instruments glide easily over paper. Over time, if used frequently, pages can begin to tear along the perforations, but then perhaps you should then be purchasing a journal.

Not as expected at all

I have been exploring the wonderful world of fountain pens these last few months. One important thing I learned is that fountain pens, even the really super nice / expensive ones, will not perform optimally unless you are using quality paper. The 24lb paper in my new Black n Red spiral notebook (ref. C67009U) is a real pleasure. Unlike other notebooks with cheaper paper, ink does not bleed through. I can use both sides of the paper in this notebook, even with heavy flowing pens using dark inks. I purchased this notebook to take to an out of town business meeting. It's portable and I'm certain it will capture my notes very nicely. One final thought - I also appreciate the fairly large spiral binding. I can fit several of my thinner fountain pens (e.g. Waterman Laurette) securely in the binding without worries of losing it. I purchased this notebook for a very reasonable price, and am thrilled with its quality.

I purchase every other month. The prodcut is wonderful except the most recent L67000. The pages tear out at the perforations much too easily. I have to use bits of cellophane tape over 100 times to help bind the pages. Hopefully this is not a permanent change.

Taking notes, light weight and can fit in a small purse.

Originally got these for my husband and have reordered for him. We both love this little notebook. The size is great - big enough to take good notes but small enough to be very portable. Hard cover protects pages and withstands a lot of "banging around". We've purchased 6 to date.

At this price, it is a great small notebook. Also fits everywhere too. Nice colors♥

I have been using Black n' Red ruled notebooks with spiral binding for several years. My spouse used to say that I am a "notebook snob," but, after using one of my notebooks, he asked me to give him one of mine. As I put it, at this price, these are the Mercedes of notebooks. I have no complaints about these notebooks. I love that those with the red spiral binding lay flat because writing is so much more convenient this way. They also are very attractive, and the quality of the paper and overall binding and cover is excellent. I tend to buy several at once and use them for personal and business purposes. That the sheets are perforated and tear out without shredding is a big plus.

I love the quality of this notebook.

This is my favorite notebook for meetings and travel. I really have never found a substitute. Its perfect in terms of professional looks, the size and the quality.
