[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had a previous B&D electric knife for over 20 years. The blade side release finally froze. I thought it was time for a new one. Out of the box it has a better grip. The single release button replaces the two side buttons. Look forward to carving soon and many more years of use.

We bought this a few weeks ago and I used it for the first time today to cut a roast. What an extreme pleasure it was to cut that roast - so easy and with even slices!

I bought this to use on My Christmas dinner and when I open the box the blade didn't have any kind of protective blade on it. That is not safe because we could have been cut by the blade. Try covering it for the consumer's safety. Otherwise it's great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved this knife. Although we only use it at holidays when we have a ham or Turkey. It cuts them easily and quickly. My parents always had an electric knife so it’s somewhat nostalgic for me also!!!

I actually purchased this because of a show i watch on TV. Cooks Country, they did a review of electric knifes. This was the testers choice overall. Ease of use, has a very helpful lockout button, and comfortable to hold. Very impressed , used first time on huge CornBeef, and it worked excellent.

Love how if feels in my hand, and makes easy consistent slices of turkey breast and roast beef.

great electric knife. so much easier to use for meats, breads & cheeses. you get the size slices you want.

Finally an electric knife that I can get behind. All my life I have found electric knives FAR TOO EXPENSIVE. This knife is not only quite reasonably priced but it is also so well designed and it feels great in the hand - not awkward at all. I am happy that Black and Decker stepped into the void and filled it with aplomb with this terrific Electric Knife. On to Thanksgiving!!.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hidden deep inside you'll find the prop 65 warning. The metal blade, plastics as well as some of the internal parts have chemicals that cause cancer. Very sad they can't use proper, food safe metals and plastics.

I bought this because America's test Kitchen recommended it...and they never fail me! I had a fairly new one that I chucked into the trash because it was hard to use, so this one is wonderful!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was able to try this electric knife. Easy to assemble, easy turn on, like the safety tabs to avoid anyone getting cut. I used it to slice slightly frozen chicken breasts & was imoressed with how well it sliced, clean, effortlessly & fast as long as you're holding down the button. The only con with this is it's very noisy. Other than that pretty good!

I have always wanted at Electric Knife but it is a tool that you forget about until you need one (a few times a year). The product did not arrive in time for carving the Thanksgiving Turkey, so 'Yes' we had Turkey for Christmas as well (no complaints at our house). Instructions were easy to understand. Assembly a breeze. It was our 1st Turkey that was picture perfect, rather than looking like it had been butchered by our 5 year old. I had my hubby make the 1st few slices, since I am not a huge fan of any kind of knife. Soon I took over and there is no looking back, I am now the Meat Carver in our house. I cook it, I get to carve it :-) Cleanup was easy. I cannot wait for Easter to carve the Ham! Our family would totally recommend the ComfortGrip™ 9 Inch Electric Knife. I wish the product would have come with a small case for storage, that is the only negative thing I would have to say about this product (and it isn't really a negative).

It gives you the ability to carve your meat neatly & quickly making prep time almost non existent compared to the chefs knife I was using previously. Right out of the box, very quick assembly & set up & you are ready to go in about a minute. I've used it twice now & both time have had a positive experience. It makes a clean cut & can easily be put back in the drawer when I'am done. The build of the actual knife is pretty good considering this is an item that you use for a short while & then put it back in the drawer. Overall this makes carving quick & simple!!!!

This has save my life because I can not slice without making the portion too large or just fall apart and crumble. I like the comfort for my hand to hold it securely. It has been used quite some days since I received it. But I did read that it can be used for other purposes like large foam and such (I will be trying those soon). I can definitely say this is an awesome knife that will be getting a lot of use in upcoming days/months.
