Q: Is this microwave quiet when it's running? I've have a microwave oven now that is very noisy when it's running.

Q: Anyone else buy this microwave and the unlock doesn't work. Neither does the directions to turn the safety lock off?

submitted byWorld Traveler - 5 months agoA: Unfortunately this only enables / disables the global child lock. Not the automatic lock after cooking. It doesn't seem there's a way to disable the automatic lock which is incredibly frustrating.

If you press and hold the unlock button for two seconds, the screen will then display the feature "Loc." Afterward, press "7" and "9" in consecutive order within 10 seconds, and the screen should then display "ULoc." Have a great day!

Q: i just got this home and couldnt get the door open after removng the tape. I followed the instructions for disabling the lock and the door still won't open.
A: Hi William, the Safety Lock function is designed to prevent children from accidentally turning on the door. Please press "unlock" before opening the door during cooking or 30 mins after it ends.

Q: When the microwave finishes, the lock icon appears. Holding Stop for 3 seconds displays a dashed symbol, but the door stays locked. I have to unplug it to open the door. Once unplugged, the door opens normally. Is this expected behavior or a defect?
A: Hi, this is expected. The function prevents kids from accidentally turning on the oven. During cooking or 30 mins after it ends, press "unlock" once to open the door. Details on manual page 16.
