Packaging incorrect and inconsistent
I love Birdseye Edamame but I’m super frustrated by the nutrition facts on the package! I bought 10 of these from the store and some were in “new and improved” packaging. That’s fine, but when I compared the packages one said there was a total of 150 calories for the package and the other said 4 servings of 90 calories each (or 360 calories total!) Both bags are 10oz, “in the pod”, edamame- same exact product but very different calorie totals and as someone who has to count all bites consumed I need to know if it’s 150 or 360z

not worth the money
why would these be sold in the pod? The pods are not eatable. They are too much work to get the beans out. I dont like wasting money on the pods I cant eat. Sell them already shelled and I would happily buy them. I love soybeans.

Great substitute for restaurant style edamame
Every time I go out to Japanese restaurants, I always order edamame. This is a good substitute when I’m at home and want a healthy, high protein, nutritious snack very easy to prepare in the microwave and I can add any seasonings. I want to mix it up.

Disliked the pod.
I wasn’t a fan of the beans being in the pod neither was my husband or son. It was a hassle opening each pod and getting the beans out. If you don’t like eating the pod or want to add the beans to a poke bowl quickly I wouldn’t recommend these. But, it’s all up to your preference.

Great product!
I love these as a snack or to enhance a meal. They are almost always fresh and vibrant! They also have a great texture and flavor (though my husband likes to add additional salt). I have gotten bags with lots of stems; QC is not always there.

Delicious when not steamed
I usually eat the Trader Joes frozen edamame because its so much better than the steamed ones, however, they have been out of stock. I tried this bag and cooked it like i do the TJS brand (in a bowl in the microwave, 50% power for 3 min increments) and it was very good! Not soggy at all. I just made sure to tranfer the edamame to a fresh plate after cooking so it wasn't sitting in the water that pools at the bottom. Top with crushed sea salt, S&B Nanami Togarashi seasoning, and dip in Sriracha. YUMMMMM!!!!
