Easy to mix and make. Nice flavor. My grandkids liked making these.

I wish these were not just seasonal

Pretty good for cookies in a bag. A couple things though. Cookies taste like they have a little bit of mint in them. Double-checked what I bought and it does say chocolate. The other thing I noticed is the instructions on my bag call for eggs and butter, and the instructions on the photo here call for eggs, butter and water. I didn’t think the dough was too sticky so I’m wondering if it has anything to do with water. I don’t bake too much so I’m not sure.

Cons: Dough was so sticky. Even after refrigeration, it did not help. I added some flour and while it was still sticky I managed to get it to form enough to make the cookies. It was frustrating and I had very low expectation for the end result. Pros: They ended up baking great. I covered 1/2 of the batch in powdered sugar as suggested. Was happy with how they all turned out. Pro or con (depends on the person.). This is not an extremely sweet cookie. It’s sweet enough in my opinion but I’d say it’s more subtle. Kind of relieved to eat a treat that isn’t sickening. Overall this was a good cookie but making them was a pain. The only thing I can think is maybe my butter was too softened and it messed it up. I’d be willing to try again to see if it was a my error but based on the reviews, I’m not the only one who had the same issue. Giving a very generous 3 rating even though I feel like it’s more of a 2 based on the dough.

I make them every year and I’ve tried tons of different recipes but Betty Crocker is the one to do it right! Just add butter and eggs and you’re off to a great start. They didn’t last long in my house and we have to get some more to save some for Santa! The powdered sugar isn’t included so make sure you get some beforehand and don’t over bake if you want them gooey!

The instructions are clear and i just followed them and these turned out good. These are soft and of great taste. My whole family really enjoyed these cookies. Will definitely make them again.

They are so fast and the perfect activity for kids interested in helping you bake. You can have warm cookies in under 25 min. They’re great warm, but I did think they were a tad too chewy once cooled. If you’re into chewy cookies though these double chocolate crinkle cookies are for you. They aren’t too sweet and are extra chocolatey.

They are so delicious. They came out really soft and the chocolate chips in them made them perfectly extra chocolatey. I highly recommend they’re incredibly hard to find in the store because they keep flying off the shelves!!!

I was super excited to bake these because peppermint is one of my oldest sons favorite flavors. To start out, the dough seemed a little weird to work with. The ingredients just didnt seem to blend together smoothly. Baking was super simple, approximately 15 minutes for a golden brown cookie. The texture was quite cakey but yet brittle. My family did wish they were less cake like and more crispy cookie. The peppermint was incredibly mild, almost non-existent. It was more sugar cookie with a light hint of mint. Definitely wish there was a little more flavor there. We tried them as baked but I also decided to frost a few with vanilla icing and topped with red sugar crystals and crushed peppermint. This definitely brought the flavor up. I would recommend this if you wanted a simple base sugar cookie thats christmasy with the red peppermint and planned to jazz them up with frosting and decorations.
