Bring back the glaze!
I'm hoping that writing yet another review asking for the old glaze to return might do something. Faithfully bought and enjoyed the old format for nearly 20 years, now have a whole family upset about the change. We make do with our own glaze, but it's not the same and takes a ton more effort, so it's far more of a special occasion thing than it used to be, especially since I have to go out of my way for the store that carries the lemon poppyseed flavor. The streusel is great on the cinnamon muffins -- on these, it's straight up disappointing.

Yuck! The previous mix was superior.
These have always been a favorite of mine. What in the world have you done to the mix?! The taste of this has changed for the worse. I added fresh blueberries as I’ve always done and feel like those were wasted along with the $ I spent to buy the mix. Please bring back the previous mix.

We want the old mix back
We tried to figure out why we didn’t like these anymore and the answer is you changed the recipe. Why? They cost more and taste like nothing with an aftertaste. No longer moist or enjoyable. We will no longer be buying. We wondered why the grocery store used to have them front and center and multiple rows of boxes to now they are on bottom shelf and only one row. Shame on you Betty Crocker

Bring Back the lemon Glaze!
The lemon poppy seed loaf with the lemon glaze was a family favorite for years. I am disappointed it has been discontinued. The streusel is far inferior. Please bring back the fan favorite lemon glaze!

My favorite muffins
My grandmother made these when I was a child. I didn't (and still dont) like any other blueberry muffins. After she passed away I didn't remember what brand she used. I tried different brands until I found it. Please don't ever change the recipe.

No Longer the same
They used to be a deeper color, better texture and more flavorful. Now they are almost bright white in color, cakey texture without the same deep flavor. They taste like the Martha White brand now, which I have never liked. Change it back!!

Perfect Muffins
I made these muffins on request from a friend. The internet revealed Lemon Poppy Seed Muffins mix by Betty which brought back memories of large Lemon muffins sold at warehouse stores. I made them and was not disappointed. They are mouth watering and fluffy when fresh and they taste a little bit more lemony when they’ve sat for a few days. The latter description matched the warehouse muffins I use to buy when I didn’t have as much time to bake.

These were delicious! Moist and flavorful. I will definitely buy them again. A couple of things to note; this did not make 42 mini muffins it yielded 34 in case you are making for a specific number of people. Secondly, the crumb topping is delightful but use sparingly to have enough for all mini muffins. If you’re expecting a sweet/sour flavor like you would have on a glazed lemon muffin don’t expect on these.
