Don’t bother

Bought this pump last summer, the bottom cracked on the canister and of course the replacement is out of stock on the website and the part sku that says is interchangeable brings up an entire pool.

Good so far

Came with pool from academy- been 4 yrs only problem was replacing prong on the lid and all the dang filters- glad they cheap! No trees around so lots of sun and algae.

great pump, but.......

I received my pump last June, works great, but......the o-rings wear out very quickly (especially the one on part #9, so pool leaks all the time)and no one here seems to be able to help me to buy new ones (certainly not Bob the Bot) also, the hoses cracked within 3 months...any idea where I can get the proper o-rings?

More powerful than pump that came with pool!

Bought this pump because the one that came with the pool was not circulating the water well. This pump really did the trick! The water is circulating so much better and my pool is staying cleaner!

Excellent upgrade

This pump is just the upgrade that my pool needed. Only had it 1 week but has made a very big difference in clearing the water especially in the operation of the skimmer.

Died, second season

I bought expectations to be great, 1st summer was great, after putting unit away for winter and reinstall new summer, found the pump no longer pump water... disappointed and upset...will call company to see if they will accommodate.

Not what I hoped

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had really high hopes for my Flowclear filter pump, but it's definitely not a miracle product. On the plus side, it was easy to install. When I first hooked it up, it was working great. It was pumping water through, and the water got clear. However, after a week or so, it started getting clogged and would not work properly. It kept shutting off on it's own, and I have to keep restarting it. Now, my water is completely green again, and I haven't even had a chance to enjoy it.

Thankful for a great pump!

Very easily put together and the power cable is long making the pump very easy to move around. With 2500 gal/hr capacity, it could fill out the pool in no time. The pump fitting is quite universal and it can easily fit with most of above ground pool with quite wide range of volume/size from a small one at 300 gallons all the way to 16,400 gallons. Impressive! The price is rather expensive though.

It also is visible because of clear casinv on filter as to when filter needs replacement or cleaning.
