A: Was this purchased? My concerns are the low shelf will be in the way of my knees or stretching out my legs- plus there is no picture of the backside. What is holding up the table top?

Packaging needs more care
This came haphazardly packed in a huge FedEx box. The pieces were not packed within any type of smaller packaging to keep them from moving around in transit. Several pieces were broken. Smaller pieces were shoved underneath the flaps of the box, and since they had broken in shipment, we almost missed finding them. Luckily they were not pieces that were completely necessary parts. My mom was able to wood glue the one part, but she should not have had to do so. Everything should have come together intact. I have been looking at this for over a year and am disappointed that since I was finally able to get it, there wasn’t more care taken to package and ship it and pieces were broken. I like the finished product, but not happy that pieces were broken.

Wonderful item in theory…. None of the screws would stay in the wood. The entirety of the storage on the inside of the door is pointless because the shelves and peg boards will not stay screwed into the door.

Did the job
This sewing table was fairly easy to put together and looks like the picture without the sewing notions. I purchased it for my Serger and with a little re-arranging on the door part, I was able to store the serger underneath. I love the way I can roll it out when I need to use it, and roll it back when I am finished.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is exactly what I needed! It is the perfect size for all of my sewing projects AND it folds up to half of its size when I am not using it. You would think that it would be a bit flimsy and not very sturdy but it is just the opposite! It is made with solid wood - especially the top of it. The only complaint I have was that some of the screw holes were too big and I had to fix them so that the screws would stay in. Other than that, I love it!

This cabinet seems as described so far. The directions were clear and I put it together in no time. The only issue is the dowel on the cabinet door for opening the table seems a little off. Otherwise, It seems sturdy so far but I have not attempted to sew yet-so hopefully it holds up!
