Missing hardware

We have ordered several of these planters and overall are very happy with the quality of the product, but with every planter we ordered the unit was short on its hardware (nuts and bolts). We had to purchase hardware to complete the assembly of the planters. The company needs better quality control, obviously.

A million washers, wing nuts and bolts…..30 minute assembly time? Ha!! In person really doesn’t look very good but since struggling for hours to put it together I’m going to use it one season and then put it to the curb. I wouldn’t advise purchasing this item. Next year I’m going to buy a watering trough instead.

Cute garden bed! 1hr install

I previously had a garden bed made out of wood. It didn’t last long as the wood started rotting. I am so excited to try this metal bed. I love the color! The instructions say it takes 1 person 30min to install, but I ended up having to get my husband’s help and took us an hour. The height is perfect so you don’t have to bend down. Overall, the price was worth the installation portion.

wrong item sent

I ordered and paid for two 8ftx2ftx2ft 9-in 1 garden bed in charcoal what you sent was 22inchx17.7inchx9.3inch. My husband is in a wheelchair and was wanting to try gardening the eight foot x two foot fit into the space between our window I need it to be 2foot tall so he can reach it in his wheelchair. I don't know why you keep senting the wrong size! the only size that works in that space is 8feet long by 2feet deph by 2feet tall. Just like the picture only in charcoal. I just want what I order and paid for in the right SIZE. This is to help a stroke victim that has lost the use of his left side. Please send the right size I'm begging you to do the right thing and send what I paid for!!!!

Beautiful garden beds but missing half the hardware. I tried to call and get replacement pieces and they wouldn’t just send hardware. We have to go to a hardware store now and buy 18 nuts and bolts.

NOT easy to put together

It took 2 of us 2 hours to put this planter box together. I would like to make the following suggestions to the manufacturer: 1. Instead of having to overlap panels (which makes it tricky to insert the screws) why can’t you just make each panel taller? It would take a lot less time to put together if each panel was taller. 2. Don’t use wing nuts. Use bolts! The wing nuts add extra time to the assembly. 3. Instead of using 2 support bars that you have to screw together, just make one longer strut that can be attached to either side. You would make your customers happier with the product if the assembly was easier. Other than the assembly of the product, I am happy with it.

Would not recommend

Do not buy this. It takes 3 hours to assemble one box and I got to the end and found I'm missing 6 screws. This happened for BOTH boxes. I contacted the manufacturer and they said I had to work with Target who offered me a small gift card to buy more screws at Target that Target doesn't sell. Save your time and money and don't buy this garbage.

Maybe Not Outside Over Winter

I loved this bed until now (it’s been about little less than a year). Not only are the screws rusted, but it looks like the metal under the paint is also rusted because the paint is bubbling and reddish. In the item’s defense, I left it out during a Michigan winter.

Functionally Great, Quality Control Lacking

I received this item with visible defects (paint scratches, gouges, loss of powder coat, etc). I took photos in the box before unpacking to clearly demonstrate these were present prior to me assembling it. Although I am a fan of the product itself (and I was largely able to conceal the defects upon assembly by strategically layering the panels over one another to hide the ones with defects), I am disappointed to have received multiple panels that did not appear to be top quality. I am hopeful that the lack of powder coat in some areas does not lead to rusting or premature detoriation from being exposed to water outdoors. The plantng space for the price is a good value though. If these defects are something that would also bother you, I would advise that you shop around before buying a similar raised bed.
