I will gladly clarify your doubt, the chairs for this Acacia wood bistro set are 35 inches tall and the seat is 23.5 inches depth when open, when the chair is closed it has a height of 40.5 inches and 5 inches depth for easy storage. Table turned out to be too big

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I will not return the table, but it’s stored for another day. I would not have purchased this table, had I known how large it is. The chairs are larger than the chairs I owned previously, and the table is taller, by several inches. The wood grain is pretty, and the set will be nice, just not on the small deck of the house I presently occupy.

Neat Bistro

This is the nicest bistro set of this kind on any website. I was very pleased when I opened the box. It is portable and light, but it is heavy enough that it won't blow away in the wind. I love it.

DANGER

Item broke the first time a 120lb teen sat on it. It collapsed and someone was injured. Target won’t accept the return. Do not buy. The item is defective. The wood dowels that hold the seat to the frame arrived broken.

Great set up for the price

I loved that there was NO assembly required...simply slid is out of the box and set it up! I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the wood for the price; seats and table are sturdy and well made.

Cute, but smell is so bad

It is so cute, especially for the price. I found the chemical smell to be overwhelming. I’ve set it outside and will make a decision as to whether or not to keep in a couple days.

Perfect preassembled set!

Lovely little set! Comes fully assembled and I really wanted that, however, it does smell like the stain a bit when you first open it FYI. The smell disappeared after I put it outside on my deck! Would recommend!

Nice but Odorous

I like the fact that it came fully assembled and the shipping was super quick. I got it the next day. But, like one of the reviewers said, it had a strong chemical odor. To me, it smelled like gasoline and I had to return it. I let it dry out in the sun but that seemed to have made the smell stronger and it permeated througout my apartment since I like to keep the balcony door opened. Aside from that one reviewer, others did not comment on the smell so I'm assuming it worked out for them. I have a very tiny balcony (28 sq. ft.) so the whole set took most of the space. If you want something simple, functional, and don't mind the smell, this is pretty decent. There were minor flaws such as the wood not being sanded down thorougly, but I can overlook that. The scent, however, was intolerable for me.
