Design flaw!
I want to love this I really do! As a previous reviewer wrote this came with mold and webs on it. I was willing to overlook that and cleaned them off.. but a major design flaw is that this came in three pieces. When you put the opening to the back of the tree to plug in the power cord, it results in a seam at the front of the tree. I am definitely not a fan of that.

I was excited to get this tree collar but was extremely disappointed to receive a moldy dirty set with spider webs everywhere. I don't even know how these look like for my tree, didn't want to touch it, so nasty. Returning it and will be avoiding this company. Please do some quality checks before these are packaged and shipped to customers.

What a great collar for one of my Christmas trees. I was on the fence and glad I tried something new; it looks great. I chose the chestnut color as a good a mid tone and it looks perfect. A little tough to feed the connections between the three pieces, but doable. I actually only connected two pieces and let the third overlap a bit in back so the collar diameter is a bit smaller for my narrow tree. Though the diameter looked fine with the standard set-up, being able to set it more narrow is ideal. Well worth the price. Sturdy and classy.

For those curious, this is almost 10 inches tall when assembled. The Q&A failed me because the respondents stated it was 11.25-11.5” tall. Frustrating because I searched everywhere for a tree collar that would tuck into the underneath of the tree so it couldn’t be seen. Ultimately I’m settling with this one and giving up on my pursuit.
