Not good at all. Very dry and bland

Great flavor! I was expecting small pieces of jalapeno and chili peppers, but such was not the case. This is a flavored rice and nothing but the rice. Really good flavor though, not real hot, but a nice even low powered burn.

So I went a little light on soy sauce in the recipe below. But please add more at the end if this tastes good to you. I almost always stir an extra drizzle into my portion and love it.

If you're looking for a mildly flavored, easy-to-prepare Mexican-inspired rice dish, this is a solid choice. Just don't expect intense heat or robust Spanish flavors.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Ben’s original Spicy Mexican style rice was pretty good. I do love how easy it is to open and heat up. We had this as a side when we made tacos. It was t too spicy but had a little kick.

Cooking instructions were easy to follow. Texture of the product felt like rice so it was good. The taste and texture was not that bad but not spicy as I would want it. But than again maybe that’s just my preference.

I set my expectations for this kinda low... as I do for anything prepared from a box where you basically add water and heat... this may have changed my mind for quickness... though it wasn't as good as the rice I make from scratch, it was better than even some of the rice I've had at some Mexican restaurants. The flavor profile is not appetizing at all, I'm not sure what they were shooting for, but they missed!!! It is also very dry no extra sauce to it at all I'll never buy this.
