My dogs loved this ice cream. Most of the time, when I get ice cream, I get it from the Purina brand, but I decided to try ben and Jerry's. They absolutely loved it. There was no hesitation at all for consumption, and now this is the only brand I'll get for my fur babies!

Not good for my dog
Gave my maltipoo this ice cream in small doses throughout the day and she has had horrible diarrhea for two days following. I also noticed that the pumpkin variety has “nutmeg” in it which causes seizures in dogs. I looked online about this and chat gpt said it was nutmeg flavoring not actual nutmeg? The ingredient label should be correct. Not only because it should be accurate but because people may think nutmeg is ok for dogs because it is listed as being an ingredient in the dog ice cream!

Our boy loves his treat!
This frozen treat does not upset our sensitive guys stomach and he looks forward to the nights he gets to enjoy it. I can only assume the taste is good because he is a little finicky. Pricey but he is worth it.

An absolute hit!
Picked these up as a high value frozen treat for the 4th of July. Licking is a great decompression activity for dogs. And I knew I needed something novel and special to compete with the booms outside. It was a hit with all 3 of my dogs.

Nice treat for doggo in Texas summer
A nice treat for Texas summer days. I’m not a big fan of the new lids, however! Understand the black plastic caps have their own issues! The new top just is too flimsy - the good news is, even with a small dog, the leftovers get used pretty quickly so I’m not worried about freezer burn.

Dog ice cream
My doggos love this ice cream, especially the peanut butter flavor. A bit pricey but for convenience & we trust this brand worth the cost. Please continue to carry this item Target, much appreciated.

Upset my dog
Second time feeding this to my dog and the moment she eats it she vomits. First time thought it was a fluke. Second I think shows that either the ingredients or amount of sugar is upsetting to some dogs.

More powerful than the evil lawn mower man
My Australian Cattle Dog LOVES both flavors of the Doggie Desserts. I let her pick which flavor she wants, once a week when the evil lawn mower man is here. I either mash it into a lickimat or let her lick straight from the cup (bc timing). I find Pontch’s is a teensy bit “cleaner” if she’s licking from the cup, bc none of it flips out; the lil cookies in the Rosie’s version sometimes go rogue momentarily onto the couch or her bed. Doesn’t matter to me, though; I can replace the furniture, but I can’t replace her joy. (Note: Allegedly, I may or may not also have one of these mini-cups more often than my pupperina does—it’s rumored to be the only way I can portion control myself. Can neither confirm nor deny. But I do personally know that they’re DELICIOUS.)

Yay! So excited we found Ben and Jerry’s dog ice cream! We love human Ben and Jerry’s so I had to get this. Our dog seems to like it! The cups look just like the humans versions. So cute!
