Honest Review from a First-Time Belvita Taster
I tried Belvita biscuits for the first time this morning, courtesy of a handsome man who handed me a pack. I’m not sure if he was trying to upgrade my breakfast routine, sneak in 230 calories and 4g of fiber, or just be sweet… but either way, I was excited to try them with my coffee. I had the gingerbread flavor, which I figured would go well with my oatmeal cookie-flavored coffee. First bite: crunchy, lightly gingery, and not nearly as sweet as I expected. After a few bites, they did get a bit dry, but one sip of coffee and the combo was chef’s kiss. Will these replace my usual breakfasts (avocado toast, bagels with cream cheese and tomatoes, lox, or eggs with pancakes and turkey bacon)? Probably not. But I will keep a few in my gym or running bag as a quick post-workout snack. Overall: tasty, convenient, and perfect when you’re on the go and short on time. I recommend them!

If you like light breakfasts it goes well with a yogurt or something small, easy to grab on the go. I liked the ginger flavor. It wasn't overwhelming but it was definitely there along with the taste of grains. Some of the cookies broke in the package but most stayed whole. It also makes a good on the go purse snack.
