Q: I just received my Startastic Solar Projector & have used the USB to charge it one whole day as well as set in sun for one whole day and its still not turning on! Why?

A: Rather than posting the same question, I thought I'd add mine here. Mine worked the first time. Now, it turns on but only lasts about 20 mins. Target/Bell+Howell please respond!

Pretty light show with multiple light options!
So far, the product works as it should! Initial charging does take a couple of hours. Recharging totally depends on how much sunlight there is. Winter months makes for shorter daylight so it may not recharge as much. A charging cord comes with the product, but if you’re in a region where the ground freezes, you may not want/be able to remove the unit from the ground …. In which you will have to charge unit with an extension cord, if not relying on the sunlight.

Never received. They charged my card. When I tried to contact about shopping because it hadn’t been shipped when it said it was to be delivered. They then ‘shipped’ it. Then they kept pushing days out. The tracking was misleading. Never received the product. Bummed I ordered this off of Target.

Issues Right Out of the Box
I bought the Bell & Howell Startastic Solar Laser Projector and followed every step to get it working. I charged it with the USB cable for over 24 hours, put fresh batteries in the remote, and even tested it in complete darkness as suggested. The remote still doesn’t turn it on at all. The only way it lights up is by pressing the red button on the bottom, and it shuts off after a second every time. Really disappointed because I was hoping to use this for holiday decorations, but it just doesn’t stay on.

We charged it for a couple days with the USB and the remote & everything worked perfectly. We set it up and left it out over one night and it hasn’t turned back on since. Easy to set up!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far, I’m very happy with my product! I hate putting up the Christmas lights every year and this will take that job off my hands. The laser is strong and charges with solar. Excited to post an update after Christmas !
