[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Even though I measured out 16 inches before ordering, I was still amazed at how large this skillet is. Truly big enough to cook up a feast. It came seasoned, although I still expect the seasoning to improve with usage. The one thing I'd suggest with this is to thoroughly pre-heat before using -- since it's so large, it should be completely pre-heated so that it cooks evenly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted a BIG cast iron for my smoker, boy is this it! It's big enough to handle a whole turkey if you wanted to. I use it for all kinds of things and find myself looking for reasons to use it. Only downside is storing it.

Like all cast iron make sure you know how to care for it, it isn't difficult. Excited to continue using this.

Make sure that you season and oil the pan before first use. This will make anything and everything you make in it amazing. The first meal was perfect and so flavorful. Everything cooked great and evenly. It also has a great depth making it great for cobblers and casseroles.
