I have purchased two Bass hair brushes from Swanson in the last few weeks, and can say that they both are high-quality and very handsome. Their wood handles even have tiny, brass, Phillips-head screws set in (for looks I believe; don't think they hold anything down!) This brush's bristles are pretty stiff; I purchased it initially for my goatee, but found that it was too stiff/scratchy for that, so also ordered their Semi Oval Wild Boar Soft Hair Brush for that purpose. [Gotta love the Wild Boar and its bristles; a stiffness for every human capillary need!]

I was impressed with the quality of the product. This was a gift to my husband whose 15 yr-old brush (!) needed replacing! He's very pleased, although it's larger than his other due to the handle. It takes up a little more space in his travel kit. We appreciate Swanson's customer service, product quality, and value.
