I liked the style, the biggest plus was I could just reach up and dim or turn off lamp without having to awkwardly reach back to do this from the back plate or on the the cord, wonderful idea.

Recently ordered two of these lamps for our guest bedroom -- one on each side of the headboard. I can not say enough good things about these. They are sturdy, beautiful, functional (the dimmer function is awesome) -- everything I had hoped for and more. They arrived earlier than expected and installation was flawless. One of my best shopping experiences ever!

These lamps are really lovely, the perfect size for a dormered room. I was happy to see that the metal on the lamps was very substantial, not tinny at all, and the antiquing/weathering is very authentic as well. The dimmer is my favorite feature.

We have had this in my son’s room next to his bed for several years now and it works great. I like that it doesn’t take up additional space on his nightstand.

This is a nice looking lamp however i had to have a second lamp sent out since the switch on the original lamp was faulty. Second lamp worked well. Customer service was excellent.

Not as well made as I would have expected for this price. I leveled the mounting plates but one was still a bit slanted. The screws to the mounting plates were not perfectly lined up and I finally had to use a longer screw. These are extremely stiff and very difficult to adjust the arms. It’s way too much trouble to consider returning these now, even though I would like to.

I bought two of these lamps to go along side of a cabin bed. They are great quality. They look beautiful and I love the built in dimmer switch in the knob.

I was in store to purchase a wall lamp shown online and didn't like the looks - too modern. While there I looked around and saw some wall lamps and one at a very reduced sale price. It was small and that's what I needed, but I wasn't used to the light bulb being face up - my current was face .down I had it shipped to me anyway and thought at that price I would just see how a lamp of this style would look and it turned out to look even better than the one I've liked and had for years. We were lucky in that the template fit exactly to what we had there already -- but it would have been an easy install either way. It's gorgeous with the lamp shades providing a yellow glow -- perfect for our vintage furniture decor. I love it also because shade is replaceable if it gets soiled -- also the dimmer switch.is more of a plus than I thought. It doesn't even look bad without the cord covers - sort of gives it an even more vintage look w/o them but I will probably get in time. However, I do need an inline switch installed as it's a bit too far for me to reach switch without practically getting out of bed. Looking for one with dimmer capabilities. A great bargain and once again Lamps Plus came through. I have two lamps in in one year that are my favorites. I should have been going to this store long ago.

Item looks good and the dimmer function is an added plus. However, the swing arm on both units was very hard to move to adjust the light. Had to use 3 in 1 oil on the joint and work it several times so that the swing function would operate properly.
