Box came damaged. I bought two of them. So if I return I would have to return them both only one box came damaged. Dolls are beautiful and in good shape but package was ripped.

I bought it just this year, 2026. My inner child asked for it because I am also a person with type 2 diabetes. When I saw it in advertisements, I liked it and felt represented, and I know that for many girls around the world it will be important to have it and feel represented given their health condition.

The doll that made me cry in the middle of the toy aisle
As a T1D mama I had to buy this even though my daughter is a bit too young for Barbie’s. I waited for WEEKS to get her after she dropped because she was sold out everywhere. The first time I saw her in the store I literally almost cried 😭 just seeing the Breakthrough T1D logo and this beautiful doll with a hole in her belly for her pump and a CGM on her arm. This made me feel extremely seen. My daughter was diagnosed this past May at only 21 months old. Our Christmas looks entirely different this year and seeing this doll on my daughter’s toy chest just reminds me how close we were to not having our baby with us this holiday season. Great job Barbie on this collab!
