My daughter is such a girly girl and this doll is just that. Like always, the only thing I don't like as a parent are the small accessories, but I guess they can't be any bigger. If you are thinking about getting this doll, you should!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Barbie Deluxe Style Fashion Doll (African American Edition) I recently added this Barbie to my collection, and overall, she’s a solid addition with some standout features—along with a few misses. First, the movable arms and legs are a huge plus. It adds a lot more flexibility for posing and play, and makes the doll feel more dynamic. I was also genuinely impressed with the hair details. For an African American doll, it’s refreshing to see swooped edges—a thoughtful and culturally accurate touch that shows progress in representation. Her hair looks and feels great, and that level of detail did not go unnoticed. The matching silver shoes and earrings were another highlight. They coordinated well and gave the overall look a cohesive and stylish vibe. Unfortunately, the handbag was a bit of a letdown. It felt out of place and didn’t match either the outfit or the aesthetic—almost like an afterthought. The metallic pink dress, while bold, felt slightly dated. It may appeal to some, but fashion-wise, it doesn’t reflect current trends and slightly undercuts the otherwise polished look. All in all, this Barbie has a lot of great features—especially in terms of articulation and cultural detail—but could use some refinement in styling choices. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (4/5)

Her hair is great to create many styles more. Her outfit seems well made and the accessories are just the right color. She comes with pink shades and pink purse as well! One of her favorite features is that Barbie’s elbows and knees bend — it makes her so much more fun to pose and play with. The soft, pretty hair is easy to brush and style, which keeps my daughter busy for hours. The cute accessories (purse, jewelry, sunglasses, and shoes) add lots of extra play value. My daughter told me she wants to play with this Barbie “every day, all day” — and that pretty much sums it up! It’s a well-made, fun doll that has quickly become her new favorite. Highly recommend!
