[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son is paper sheet white like me (only thing he really got from me), so he needs sunscreen cause he is also a outdoors boy and wants to stay out all day if possible. This sunscreen is great, he hasn't gotten burnt very much besides the one time when he fought me on his face and I couldn't get his cheeks too well. Not a strong scent but we are florida raised so sunscreen was common and I'm used to the smell, washes off easily, does just what I am looking for and I will purchase again!

really not mineral and
there's a loophole with mineral spf. there's an ingredient butyoctyl salicylate which is similar to a chemical spf ingredient. it boosts the spf power.

Great mineral sunscreen
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really excited to try out the Banana Boat mineral sunscreen. When I first applied the sunscreen I was worried there would be an awful white cast that couldn’t be rubbed in. However, I was pleasantly surprised at how well it rubbed into our skin. The sunscreen doesn’t have a strong odor and isn’t super oily. I think that this is a great product that we will use all summer at the pool.

Easy to apply

It’s like a thick paste that you just have to rub and rub and rub to get it to blend and it will leave you looking like a ghost. I’m not even going to attempt to put this on my nephew because I know that he does not have the time nor the patience. I will say eventually, it does dry nice. And I never felt the need to reapply. But all in all this product is not for me.

Good sunscreen for fair skin.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This sunscreen was a great use for my little girl. She is very fair skinned, and it blended into her skin very well. We played all day in the sun and she didn’t get burnt at all! The texture is very lightweight leaving a little bit of a white cast, and a little bit of a greasy feeling. It did not get on either of our clothes throughout the day. It was a non-pilling sunscreen, which made it great. Will definitely be using it again whenever we go out.

I love that it is a 100% mineral-based formula, giving me peace of mind about the ingredients I’m putting on their skin. The "tear-free" promise really holds up, as there are no complaints even when they’re sweating or splashing in the pool. It rubs in surprisingly well for a mineral sunscreen and doesn't leave that heavy, sticky residue common with other brands. With SPF 50+ and 80 minutes of water resistance, it provides excellent protection during long afternoons at the beach. This has officially become a permanent staple in our summer beach bag!

Once rubbed in you cannot see the lotion. It is not sticky and does not irritate my children’s skin. It is water resistant so it lasts awhile and it is tear free so it does not born my kids eyes! Also, NO OXYBENZONE & PARABENS either which is always a bonus in my home! 5 stars!

Fragrance Free & Without Harsh Chemicals
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Banana Boat Kids Mineral Lotion is a product I trust for my little one! This sunscreen contains SPF 50+, which is the only SPF I would use on my son. The sunscreen excludes any oxybenzone, fragrances and parabens. Simply apply a small amount of the sunscreen to the skin, wait 15 minutes before sun exposure and reapply every two hours. I tested the sunscreen on my skin first and really like how it is scent free. I also noticed that after trying to wash the product off with water, it was very challenging to remove. This reassured me that it will protect my child’s skin from the harsh rays of the sun. I cannot wait to use this product this summer to help prevent sunburn.
