Don't buy this!!
Cheap didn't even last a month before the top broke (the wood) then 2 months later the trap ripped. The base didn't last a year before it start rotting. Waste of money. It's a good concept but horribly made!

Just got it in the mail, it didn't meet up in the middle by about a half foot so took apart the 2 sides and moved them in each about an inch

Canopy needs to be reinforced!
My kids love this sandbox! Gave it a 3 because of the canopy. It has freyed and will be wrecked soon and have only had 1 month. The ends being freyed weren’t stitched to protect it. I’ve tried to see about getting a replacement but all I have found is a new one will be sent. I don’t want a whole new one as we have sand in it already.

You should have received a yellow paper with the product that tells you how to contact Badger for warranty claims. We have a parts request system available at our web site 24x7x365 to make things even less hassle and allow you to do things on your schedule. We ship out parts generally the same or our next business day. We use only first class mail/delivery services (no bulk mail), and we ship from central Wisconsin. So arrival time is based on your distance from central WI. The average is 3-5 days. We always email tracking numbers upon shipment (when available). Took about an hour to put together. Was disappointed that the directions weren't a little clearer. And the predrilled holes weren't that well defined.
But we used Wood Glue for added strength. Three women put it together. And the children love it!

Not something I can recommend.
One of my worst purchases.
The wood came cracked and in general is not heavy duty. The nuts for the post come right off of the wood, so the post will not stand up without modification and wood glue. Simply put, not a good buy.

Great sandbox
I purchased this sandbox for my 18month old. It took a little skill to put together but wasn't bad if you closely follow directions. Everything is as described. The benches are cute and fold into a cover easily. The awning is also nice and provides good shade. It has velcro so it can be detached and stored for the winter or in bad weather. The velcro is also sturdy enough to keep the awning in place in windy weather. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a nice-looking permanent sandbox.
