So so

I loved the Aveeno Calm + Restore Gel Moisturizer for the face (50ml jar), but since I finish it in less than a month, I tried this Gel Moisturizer which is actually for the body, as it comes in a larger amount. It’s much stickier than the face moisturizer, so it’s just okay for body use and not ideal for the face. Nothing special about it.

Wanted to love it, but had a bad reaction...

I loved that it a gel AND for sensitive skin. I do question the Aveeno definition of "sensitive" now, bc I am fair and sensitive, and WOW, did this ever break out my arms and legs (the only places I used, thankfully). It's been two weeks and I'm still getting over it. Before you wonder: NOPE, no changes to diet, new bath products, extra stress, sun reactions, etc. This was fully product-related, bc it's the only thing that was a change to anything about my daily - and as soon as I stopped, it did start getting better. Sorry, Aveeno - I have other products from your brand that I love, but this one gets thumbs down without hesitation. Sensitive girls, beware. (Try to test it first if you can, but luckily, Target will take it back.)

Burns sensitive skin

It burns my sensitive skin. I have eczema and been learning what works with my body recently. This product burned and overly dried out my healing eczema!

Changed it back to the old formula, new one gave m

I Breakouts so bad with the new formula. I never had with the old and been loyal for so many years and now it caused me sever skin problems. The bulk i bought is a waste of money i cannot use now and want my money back or give me the old ones. Lotion shampoo conditioner and sunscreen new ones made my skin breakouts. Please bring back the old formula or refund the bulk i bought from you. I’ll be happy to return them back!

Oats galore

Love the smell and feel. It has no fragrance but the yummie oat smell makes me wanna eat it, but please do not eat! Spreads easily as opposed to other aveeno lotions I’ve tried. I get bumps if my skin doesn’t like something. No bumps at all. A little stickiness to my pajamas but that’s unavoidable. Also a tub would be better than the pump for full body products. But I understand it depends on air exposure the product is made for.

No more old elephant elbows!

I am post menopausal, and haven't been able to find an unscented or even lightly scented lotion that works (for longer than a few minutes), is affordable, and is made with prebiotics. I am so thankful to have found Aveeno Calm and Restore! It is the only thing I'll use from now on. I'm about 3 weeks in- and my dry scratchy elephant elbows are gone. :)

Small in size

This is a great product! It makes my skin feel baby soft when I use it after a shower and now that we are entering winter, my skin definitely needs it. My only issue is sizing😒 Why is it so small compared to your other moisturizers for the same price?? I wish that the sizing was bigger.

Incredibly moisturizing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this product for a little over a month, and I can 100% say that it is worth it! My first time using it was a fail, it ended up reacting to one of my skincare products causing my cheeks and forehead to burn and turn red. I decided I’d still keep trying, and went ahead with a smaller simpler routine. I waited a few days before putting any products on my face, and decided to just do a simple wash and moisturize. It has a nice cooling effect when rubbed into the skin. Very smooth consistency, and leaves a dewy glowing finish! My skin is left feeling moisturized and looking glowy for a few days! I 100% recommend this for anyone that’s looking for a sensitive skin moisturizer that leaves a glowy finish, and either has a simple routine, or is looking to downgrade products!

Soft & smells good

This gel moisturizer doesn’t leave your hands feeling nasty after using it , it really absorbs into your skin. I have been using this for my daughters skin $ mine as well & just using it for a few days have noticed differences in both of our skin(s). Also the smell isn’t overpowering like most moisturizers/lotions. So 10/10 for me!!
