Great for redness prone sensitive skin! After years of using EucerinRedness relief cream.. they stopped making it and what replaced it didn’t work as well.. I searched high and low for an affordable replacement and this is it ! .. i use this with Dr. Jart SPF 30 color corrector cream and it keeps my sensitive Rosacea skin very happy.. if you have sensitive skin .. you will love this!.. it absorbs quickly and is very hydrating

Best moisturizer for sensitive skin

I have sensitive skin and most moisturizers will leave my skin feeling tight and with a red appearance. However, this moisturizer leaves my skin feeling instantly hydrated. The feel of the moisturizer is light and smooth. It does not cause my face to become red or tight. It gives a lasting glow and hydrated appearance. I highly recommend this product for people who have sensitive skin.

Terrific for sensitive skin!

I have very sensitive skin and was looking for a new moisturizer. I had used Kiehl's Ultra Facial for years and had been happy with it till around 2019/2020 - when they changed their formula and added squalane, which seems to irritate my skin. I tried several other products since then - which were all hit and miss. I finally decided to experiment and purchase Aveeno's Calm and Restore Oat Gel Moisturizer for Sensitive Skin. I had tried a couple of other Aveeno products that were fine for the body but not the face. However, this one is terrific! It definitely moisturizes well but doesn't feel too heavy and it doesn't bother my skin at all. In fact, it gives it a very gentle and calming effect. Highly recommended!

I’ve been using this moisturizer for about a week. The gel texture is light and absorbs quickly without feeling sticky. I have semi dry skin in some places nd normal skin in others. I also get terrible breakouts with most products. This product helped moisturize both my skin types and also not break me out!! It doesn’t feel oily either! Im sticking with this for as long as I can because it is always hard to find something that works! Contains phenoxyethanol

I'm surprised that Aveeno used phenoxyethanol, a known skin irritant, as a preservative in this. Its pretty high on the ingredient list, too, meaning the concentration is probably too high for many of us. This causes both flaking and sores on my skin, likely becaues of the phenoxyethanol.

I absolutely love this moisturizer. It is a gel, not a cream. It feels great while I'm using, goes on smooth and easy. It leaves my skin feeling soft, clean, fresh and happy. I love that it has soothing oats in it. It is great for skin barrier. Also, it seems like a small jar, but you need so little of it each time, I feel like it will last me quite a while. Another win for Aveeno. This is my first time purchasing this moisturizer, but I will def keep using it. It is fantastic.
