Avalon Organics Scalp Treatment Tea Tree Shampoo is a great choice if you deal with an itchy or flaky scalp. I’ve used it during times when my scalp felt dry or irritated, and the tea tree oil gives a refreshing, tingly feeling that makes it feel like it’s really working. It has a strong herbal scent (which I personally like), and it lathers nicely without feeling too harsh. After a few washes, my scalp felt calmer, and my hair felt clean but not stripped. It’s also made with organic ingredients and no harsh chemicals, which is a big plus for me.

This is my husband’s favorite shampoo currently! He loves the fresh scent and clean feeling it provides in addition to it not containing any GMOs.

Helped my scalp eczema/dermatitis but did not lather enough for my taste and my hair was a bit brittle afterwards if did not use another brand for conditioner.

I love love this shampoo. I have a very sensitive scalp and anything else triggers my scalp into a frenzy of dryness. The smell is ok, I trust the ingredients. My cousin has also adopted this brand. The price is very good! For organic and that works- which is hard to find.

I began to use this on my scalp after I was diagnosed with cancer last December. My scalp was producing high amounts of oils and my hair was stressed and falling out. I massaged it into my scalp every day for a week and my scalp began to clear up. No more sebaceous sores. No more scalp Information or pain. I begin hemo next mo th and will use these products to help if I experience hair loss from my treatment.

I bought this as a convenient replacement when I ran out of my beloved Paul Mitchell Tea Tree shampoo, but it really doesn't stand up to that comparison. First and foremost, I don't smell or feel the tea tree! The Paul Mitchell even feels cooling on the skin, a sensation that tracks with my experience using straight tea tree essential oil as an acne spot treatment. It's my favorite part of using tea tree products, I find it wonderfully refreshing. Unfortunately, this shampoo doesn't have that, and the smell weirdly reminds me of a can of Diet Coke—sharply metallic and vaguely artificial. I feel like I'm going crazy every time I use it, because I feel like it *shouldn't* smell like that, but it really really does. However, it is an effective shampoo, lathers well and leaves my hair clean, so it still gets a couple stars.

My husband loves this! It is tingly fresh and definitely cleans the hair without over drying. We both have an oily scalp and we found that it balanced that. I found that it was would dry my long hair, so maybe best for shorter hair types. I do not care for the smell but it doesn't linger after the shower.

It’s alright, felt like it dried out my hair a lil bit. I’d most likely not but again but for those tea tree lovers, it’s got a good smell and seems to do what it’s meant for.

Such a calming and relaxing smell that it has its doesn’t make my scalp oily which is good. It helps so much to keep my hair untangled.

Through the years I've tried several products from the brand all products were Nice! I would possibly use some more products in the future.

Amazing blend of minty tingle from a clarifying shampoo. Great for moisturizing your dry scalp and for balancing pH for oily scalp. A little goes a long way and is a great value for the price.

I like this shampoo because it is organic and safe for the hair. No side effects. My hair looks healthy after using.

I have used Avalon shampoo. It gives a cool tee tree head shower. Hair feels very fresh and clean. It is affordable for that quality. It is easy to use. It’s a gear organic shampoo. I would recommend and would buy again.

This product was so meh. I bought it for scalp buildup as tea tree is incredibly refreshing and cleansing. But my hair is dry - and this made it more dry. I think I would recommend this to someone with an oil issue and no one else.

I can’t say it helped my scalp. Other dandruff shampoos worked better. The scent is fine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros first : It smells great, need minimal mouth, and no more flaking! Cons: little lighter side but thats how I think organic shampoos will be. The combination of edge wax and grease in my hair requires me to wash my hair about 3 times before I can see any lather due to the oils in my hair and the edge wax. But it works nicely and I love to use organic products for my hairs and it does its work well.

Hair does feel clean and refreshed, which is the main point . I also feel smell is not that strong, which works for few people .
