Aura Cacia Skin Care Oil, Organic Tamanu , 1 fl oz 30 ml

I am 68 so my skin is aging along with the rest of me. Also I still have an inclination for blemishes on my nose which has large pores. Using tamanu oil all over my face is super. I love that it works to nourish the skin whatever its condition (oily or dry). Twice a week I make a mixture of baking powder and undiluted glycerin as a scrub which is softening and sloughing at the same time. Then I apply in sequence a homemade serum of Vitamin C, and a homemade serum of hyaluronic acid and finally once my face is dry I top with tamanu oil. I do this morning and night. I constantly receive compliments on my skin and people are surprised when they learn my age. Tamanu oil is also wonderful for nails, cuticles and the back of your hands. I just rub in a few drops. It soaks into my cuticles and hands within about an hour.

I wanted to get Tamanu oil for awhile, but the price kept me waiting. I finally purchased it after shopping around and Swansons was definitely the best price. Very pleased!

The bottle of Aura Cacia Tamanu Oil I received has the characteristic greenish color and nutty odor of genuine tamanu oil. I also very much like the bottle with pump dispenser. This is a high quality oil, and I am pleased with my purchase.

According to certain respected industry authorities, there is a lot of science supporting the ability of tumanu oil to smoothe wrinkles and soften the lines of aging. Its a new product to me so time will tell in my case. I use it at night before bed. It goes on a bit oily and stays that way for awhile. By morning, you can see that it all soaked in. This product smells vaguely like the kind of oil I used on my ball glove when I played baseball as a youth and high schooler. I don't mind the smell. It is much more subdued than glove oil, but some people may not like it. Early indication is that it is likely to work out well for me.

Wonderful product! It is very helpful for teenage skin as well as other skin types. I aways have a bottle on hand. :)
