Anolon 14" Carbon Steel Wok Black

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very exciting when I got this wok that I immediately used it to stir-fry some rice. It is beautiful. It is heavy, shiny, and seem durable. However, because I didn’t season it before use, the rice were sticking to the work, and it was difficult to stir. I have to clean and season it after the first use. And I learn that that if I heat the wok at proper temperature, food will not stick to it! It would be frustrating at first if you used to non-stick cookware, but this wok would definitely worth it if you follow instruction!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pan his a very large capacity. The heat moved through the pan good and seemed to cook pretty evenly. It looked beautiful before the first use. Now it does have more oiled look but still looks great.

I batch made a whole bunch of meals for my MIL as she recovers from surgery. One of the meals I decided to make was Mongolian beef. It cooked up really well. I’ve also used it since then to make another Asian dish. My only concern is I can’t seem to keep meat from sticking. I’m not sure if it’s a heat issue, not enough oil or what I’m doing wrong. I don’t want to necessarily blame it on the product. Otherwise. It’s great - heavy duty and cleans up very well. I love it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don’t really know how to feel about this Wok, I kinda like it but at the same time I don’t. Reason being is because the food was sticking to the bottom although it had a good amount of oil. The nice thing was that it cleaned super easy!

The stainless handles don't heat which makes it easy to maneuver. The non stick coating builds up overtime making it easy to clean. Love it!

It heats up super fast and evenly, which makes stir-frying so much easier. I love the natural non-stick surface that builds up over time — food slides right off when seasoned properly. It’s a bit heavier than I expected, and it does require some maintenance to prevent rust, but that’s normal for carbon steel. Overall, it feels sturdy, cooks great for a nitride carbon steel wok.

At first, I was a little skeptical that it will not work on my electric stove however it works perfectly fine. It heat up fast and the heat distributed evenly. The nonstick coating making it easy to clean. Overall, I love that is big enough for a mess free cooking. The price is very affordable for this big in high quality wok.
