Mushroom

Nice filling meal
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lots of mushrooms in this dish. I did not use any additional seasonings. I thought it was perfect. I did use the microwave to prepare it as that’s one of the two options. My microwave must be a little on the low-voltage side because I needed an extra minute. It was an easy meal, and I paired it with brussels sprouts that had a little maple glaze, which was perfect for the salty /sweet combo. I enjoyed this unique frozen convenient dish. I’ve never seen. This is an option in the frozen food section. Nice and cozy meal!

Awful product
It is nasty. Army green/brown color and loaded with peas ( stopped counting at 57). I tried doctoring it up with extra butter and parmesan but it couldn’t be saved. It is foul looking and tasting.

Good Concept, Needs a Recipe Refresh
We usually really enjoy Amy’s meals, but this one didn’t quite work for us. The texture was too soft, and the flavor didn’t have the rich, savory umami you’d expect from a good mushroom risotto. It reminded me more of mushrooms mid-sauté, watery and lacking depth. Hoping this one gets a recipe refresh, since the concept is great.

Overpriced. Has high sodium content, yet is bland.
I almost didn’t buy this item because it has over 1/4 of your daily value of sodium. I wish I hadn’t. I really thought this would taste like a nice risotto with mushroom in it, but everything in the dish tastes like mushroom. It was oddly bland despite the amount of sodium and simply tasted earthy to me, and not in a good way. It kind of made me slightly nauseous. I finished it because it was not cheap. Will not buy again.

Not Filling, Bad Taste
Ate this for lunch and it just didn't really fill me up. I noticed after buying it that it only has 7 grams of protein. Probably would be better as a snack, but sort of expensive for just a snack. The flavor felt very mushy to me. I normally love Amy's, but this one was a miss for me. I will have to stick to items that have higher protein so I won't snack all afternoon!!

Love Italian, but a little lazy?
Then, have I got a dish for you. This mushroom risotto is hands-down one of my favorite buys from Target. 6 bux for a single frozen meal is a little bit expensive, so I wait for a (wonderfully common) sale at Target. It literally makes it easier to face another shift at work, having this lunch to look fwd to. Watch your sodium intake of course (for any frozen or canned meal), but grab this & enjoy it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried the Amy's Mushroom Risotto Bowl for the first time. I am a big fan of Risotto. I honestly was not expecting much. I was extremely surprised at how much I liked this risotto. I was sad when the bowl ended. It is a great portion size but i shared it with my family and they liked it a lot too. It has fantastic flavor. It's actually creamy. I highly recommend this product. I truly enjoy it and will be buying it more regularly.

Tastes like rice in cream of mushroom soup
