Q: can this be used by an adult for adult book? It’s a lot cheaper
A: Hi Mel! The Kindle Colorsoft Kids edition is the same hardware as the normal version, it just comes with a trial of Kids+, the pre-installed kid-proof case, and a 2 year worry free guarantee! Q: Is this compatible with the Libby app?
A: Hi Carlyn! You can use the 'deliver to Kindle' feature in the Libby app to send books directly to the Kindle Colorsoft Kids, but the Kindle itself does not run apps like Libby. I just use the Libby app on my phone to manage my holds and loans, and then read on the Kindle itself. This version also comes with a free trial of Amazon Kids+ which features curated kids books and comics you can access for free as part of the trial! I hope that helps, have a great rest of your day!
