[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This works as described! For good reason, some hotels use air conditioner units from Amana to keep their guests cool and happy. We have a small, single-room apartment behind our home where my extended family stays at least twice a month and this Amana window unit is enough to cool off the space. We mounted the air conditioner over the single window in the apartment and came across no issues. As for features, it has 3 cooling speeds and comes with a pretty straightforward remote. Despite the modest digital display, this portable AC unit has a programmable timer should you want to start cooling your space before you get home. As for noise level, I find it similar to the type of noise an air purifier makes. Overall, highly satisfied with this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow, I am so excited to use this air conditioner in my living room area once the weather starts to heat is, and it won't be long as I live in the Midwest. I am so confident that it will have the capability to keep my front room cool and give our main AC a break I love that it comes with a remote control, that will be so handy. I also like that it is energy efficient as well to keep my summer cooling costs down. I have owned a similar product in the past and it wasn't very noisy, so I don't expect it to be too noisy. It also functions as a dehumidifier as well, which is awesome because it can be very humid in our area. I am so happy about this!

Smaller than what I thought but I needed an a/c. I'm glad I got this one. It really helped me during our recent heat wave. It packs a punch, for sure!
