[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have already received many compliments about this Alpine Solar Powered Mosaic Gazing Globe i got to try for free from @influenster! Everyone absolutely loves it and are on the look out from their own. First off, the packaging was very secure. I always get nervous with anything glass being shipped but it was bundled up tight and had no issues with it being shipped. The stand was very simple to put together. The solar power top, with wired LED lights was a bit difficult to pop off at first. You really feel like you are going to damage it when pulling on it, i honestly thought they made a mistake and glued it on. But i was wrong, after a few tries it came off, the more you mess with it, the more comfortable you get with popping it in and out. Very nice wired LED. I am very familiar with battery operated lights, and these are well designed. The wire allows you to adjust the lights inside the globe to your liking. Everything about this mosaic glass globe is very durable, There is a warning about water damage but it seems to only refer to freezing. Believe it has a good enough seal to protect the battery pack from rain, but you might want to keep an eye on it, emptying any water that might sneak in. The solar power lights charge in the day and turn on at night on their own, so its very user friendly. Not sure how long the rechargeable batteries last, but it says to replace them every 12 months. We'll see about that. Bottomline, this is a beautiful art piece that brings a nice colorful accent to the yard. The lights wont be bright enough to guide a path or anything like that, but it does at a attractive eye-catching piece to your yard/house everyone will love. #Influenster @Alpine4u

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Adorable outdoor solar globe that makes my new front stairs look nice. I put it in a secure corner so that I don’t need to stake it or hit it with the mower. It’s a bit small and would fall over if bumped.

However, I’m not sure how stable this will be if left out during a windy storm. It arrived with some cracks in the glass during shipping despite being wrapped in bubble wrap.

We have been having very strong winds in California and it has held steady the entire time.

Quality is strong amd durable. Should last a long time and has versatility as it can also be placed inside the home as well!
