Q: Is it meant to hold the pressure after pumping, and launch on its own? We just opened ours and a person needs to hold the pump in order for the ball to launch, help!

READ THE REVIEWS!
Item never worked. The one time I did not read the reviews is the one time they were all terrible. My son is starting flag football next week and was so excited to have this. We couldn't even order a new one because the reviews all say the same thing. It either never worked or stopped working fairly quickly. Waste of time and money.

The football wouldn’t hold air and therefore wouldn’t launch. We tried different things and my engineer husband spent 45 minutes trying to get it to work. We are returning it.

Would be great if it could last
Bought this last year and exchanged the first one when it broke. Second one did as well within month (returned). Funny to see it for "sale" $30 more than we paid last year and still not improved. It was very fun for the short time my son had it.
