Alba Botanica Baby Sheer Mineral Sunscreen Lotion SPF 50 - 3 fz

I picked this up at my local Grocery Outlet it was up by the check out and I thought I would give it a try I am always on the look out for a good sunscreen and I was looking for something gentle because my skin at times can be a little sensitive this product is suppose to be cruelty free and reef friendly is hypo- allergenic and this is seriously gentle on my skin but I tried it on my face and it was serious white cast city and it is also hard to rub into the skin as it is a super thick formula and it is a little sticky.

Love this brand for my kids and I trust them! I wish I got the spray though because it's so much easier to put on little ones. I want to protect my kids from the sun but I like products that aren''t full of chemicals. This one works for my family! I like their coconut scented ones too!

It’s doesn’t run like most sunscreens is which is another reason why it’s so good. I like how there is natural minerals in the block. Packaging super simple for such a great product inside great job

It’s fairly easy to find “kid sunscreen” but I have had a hard time finding any specifically geared towards babies so I was stoked to find Alba Botanical Baby Sunscreen! Since we’ve had quite a few sunny/super warm days we’ve been getting outside more and have had a chance to use this sunscreen. I was worried about how her skin might react so I did a spot-test first, all good! Since then we’ve been using our Alba Botanical Baby sunscreen quite a bit! I love knowing that her little skin is protected when we’re outside. Would absolutely recommend to anyone with little babies and will definitely be using with my next little one as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tube of sunscreen is great for on the go. It is a nice size and works well and does not have an overwhelming scent which i appreciate. My child's skin also seemed to handle it well we used it for our one year old and preschoolers.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently received this Alba Botanica Baby mineral sunscreen and have used it many times on my 7 month old. It works perfectly! It’s easy to apply, does not have an unpleasant odor, and isn’t greasy! It has given my son great coverage while he has been outside. I feel this sunscreen is very gentle for his skin while still working to prevent sunburn.

This fragrance free, hypoallergenic sunscreen hasn’t caused any issues and we use it every time he’s outside longer than 10 minutes. It’s true to its word and is water resistant for up to 80 minutes. Perfect for my 3 year old when she refuses to get out of the water! 45+ SPF and goes on clear. It recommends applying after 80 mins of swimming, immediately after towel drying and at least every 2 hours.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Right off the bat, this sunscreen came out SUPER watery and clear. Like pure liquid.. no way it should be that way. So I shook the tube. And shook it and shook it. After about 3 minutes, the ingredients started to thicken up inside and when applied again, it came out white and much thicker. The second issue, it says it is fragrance free but it definitely smelled like baby powder to me so not sure about that. Finally, after sitting on the skin for a few minutes, it started to get a little tingly which I did not like personally, so I would not want to put it on my babies. I washed it off so I can't speak to how well it protects in the sun. Overall, would not recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like that this product does not contain oxybenzone or artifical fragrance. Normally, I am a fan of Alba products so I was wanting to like this! It does not spread very well and has a tendency to be clumpy. Unfortunately for those reasons the product is cumbersome to use so I will not be reaching for this often.

It works great, both my kids have sensitive skin and they did OK with this no rashes or anything. They also didn't get any sunburns while using the sunscreen. On the bottle it says fragrance free however it does have a slight smell to it, kind of smells like baby lotion. The one thing I didn't like was that it feels kind of sticky when you put it on.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upon receiving this sunscreen I open the top and squeezed a bit on my hand. It was very watery like it needed shaken up so I put the cap down and shook it. It sounded like there was just water in the container. I shook for about 30 seconds and opened it back up but it was still watery with white chunks and looked separated. I’m not sure if this is how this sunscreen is supposed to be or not. When I rubbed it in on my hand it was again like water. It didn’t feel like it added any moisture and absorbed very quickly. I always test sunscreen and other lotions on my hands before applying them to my sons skin. This I will not be applying to him as I feel it will have no benefit and will not protect him from the sun. I do not trust this product due to the consistency of the lotion. The only thing I did like was the size of the bottle. This would be the perfect size bottle to throw in my purse and wouldn’t take up much room.

It comes out slightly clumpy, but as I put it on baby I didn’t notice anything strange about it. It was definitely easier to apply than some of the very thick sunscreens. It got the job done and smells good.

This stuff absolutely works and doesn’t leave my kids with breakouts like the original stuff we were using! I will definitely be using this sunscreen now

I have a 10 month old son and I knew there would be times where he would be in the sun even if I tried to avoid it. I am very impressed with this sunscreen. It didn't leave a greasy feel and was easy to rub into his skin. We were out for a total of 10 hours the first day and he wasn't the slightest bit red. The next few days we were out for around 14 hours each day. I applied it twice just in case. Overall, it worked very well.

I’ve tried a few brands that are geared toward sensitive skin but my skin didn’t like it. This is suppose to be for a baby but I’ve been using it and my skin seems to like it! Once you put on baby it protects without making the child feel like their skin is too sticky or greasy. Love the way it feels light and non noticable
