The parts don't fit together
The parts don't fit together. Which parts, you ask? 1 - the screws were too short to connect the pieces together, so we ended up going out to buy replacement parts from a hardware store. 2 - the legs don't fit to the wood. There are significant gaps between the legs and the table wood. We had to hammer some of the legs into place. At one time I braced my whole body weight against the table to force it into place so we could get the last screw in. The legs basically came so bent out of shape that the piece was nearly impossible to put together. That said. We kept the piece, partly because we spent hours wrestling in into shape, partly because we'd also purchased the coffee table, and partly because the wood is beautiful. Terrible manufacturing though.

DAMAGED GODS
Thought it was a good deal for the money. Ordered the coffee table and end table. Both arrived on time, perfectly packed, well insulated against any type of damage. When BOTH items were carefully removed form the box, you could see scrapings on EACH piece where it had been previously put together and in pressing the metal legs into the top of the surfaces of each of the wooden pieces, the area had been scraped off from the wood. I cannot figure how or why this was done on each piece, no less. They appeared to be perfectly packaged as if they came from the factory. Of course, this necessitated carting everything back to Target for a refund. I didn’t want to risk taking a chance with ordering it again. I will not buy this brand through Target again and I caution others from doing the same.

The table is cute, and the size is what I was looking for. However, the assembling is a nightmare: the metal parts and wooden parts do not fit each other very well and you need to use hammer to force them work together... Unlike some other furnitures that you can build piece by piece, for this one you need to adjust all at one time.
