I like this salmon but I paid 13.99 and it’s was only 3 pieces of fish In the bag that’s diabolical. This price needs to come down less than that it’s not worth 13.99 more like 8.99 for 3 pieces and it’s definitely not 16oz.

Worms
I used to buy this salmon frequently and it was delicious until I found worms once. Now that I’ve waited months to buy them again, this is the second time I’ve found round worms in this salmon. There are less of them this time. I’m afraid of getting a parasitic infection, so it’s a waste of my money.

I just stick 1 in my sink and walk my dog for a bit. Then I cook it on medium heat with butter, salt & pepper & some garlic seasoning for 1-2 minutes on each side & microwave some veggies, mix it all together and wham! Dinner for 1.

So i originally came to read the reviews after I opened the package and saw only 3 filets. After reading the reviews I was less disappointed, because it’s true I paid about $4 a filet (I’m in California) and it is WILD CAUGHT which is understandably more expensive. So all that was left was to see how it tasted. I didn’t find any bones or worms, however I did not like the taste. It tasted very salty in a way that’s hard to describe… the after taste was unpleasant. If there’s a way for me to return this since we didn’t make them all I’m definitely going to try. I would not suggest these

Great quality salmon. The people complaining about worms crack me up. Stop being dramatic and do some research. Wild caught fish will have worms in them, wow what a shocker, fish with worms! 🤯 I’m sure the people cleaning them do their best to remove most worms but you can imagine it’s impossible to remove all. You should feel good knowing you found a worm in your fish, that means it’s wild caught that was fresh, not that farmed crap. You should be even happier if the worm is alive, that means the fish is super fresh. If you can’t get past that idea, go buy yourself farmed fish, they rarely have worms, but they also suck and aren’t as healthy or good.

I purchase this wild-caught sockeye salmon regularly and have never been disappointed by flavor, texture, or anything unexpected after reading the label. Bones? Yes, a couple here and there, but that’s OK because the label mentions it may contain bones. BTW, the bones are NOT plastic. I have only had one smell fishy whenI thawed it too far in advance of cooking it, which is normal for fish. If it thaws in the fridge overnight and is cooked that day, I always get great results. And have never found any worms, and I DO check. Not saying that it’s impossible but that has not been my experience and I eat these regularly because of the reasonable price and excellent quality for wild-caught fish.
