I have enjoyed every Alaffia product I’ve tried. This whipped lotion is incredible. True lavender scent. Skin takes a few minutes to soak it all in but it leaves my skin with a light creamy softness. Favorite thing to rub on myself before bed, thanks for a great product!

I love the strong true lavender smell!!! It is super thick and very moisturizing and very clean - only 3 ingredients - no filler - amazing company and amazing product. I’m in love!!! I totally understand why some people don’t like the smell or consistency.. it’s not lavender added fragrance, it’s real lavender. So if you’re a natural crunchy earthy non-toxic holistic naturopath loving human - you’ll agree with me - this is legit! Get some!

The added lavender is a mistake, It smells horrible and the scent is overpowering. I threw it away the same day that I received it.

I’ll start with the positives, a little goes a long way and it’s quite moisturizing. Upon receiving the lotion, I immediately noticed how light the container felt in my hands. I was concerned that it wasn’t filled to the brim and for the price, I wanted my money’s worth. I then opened it to see that it indeed wasn’t filled but the lightness may be caused by the fact it’s whipped. Which brought me to my next concern, how much of the ingredients am I actually getting?? Because when you make anything whipped, it doubles in size. It’s airy and fluffy unlike how the ingredients are combined in it’s original state. Lastly, the smell. It smells like how one would smell after coming inside from a bonfire. Not very lavender-y in my opinion, but more like smokey. It’s not necessary a bad smell but definitely not what I was expecting. All in all, it’s is NOT worth $14. It all comes down to the value for me and I can’t justify it. I will just try my hand at making a lotion for my kids. Pics include: when I first opened it, how much I used on my 10 month old(which was a little more than needed) and how much after she and her 2 year old brother were lotioned. I doubt this will last me much.
