I got this laptop back in January, for $550 was a steal I was a bit concerned about the condition but i came almost brand new no scratches or anything noticeable just the screen was a little bit dirty but nothing that a microfiber cloth doesn’t clean. Performance is good even with the fact that this 4060 is locked at 80w i don’t think it’s a bad thing since the temperature fluctuates around 60C - lower 80C in some cases, I do play in external monitor 2K 144hz and work great just need to play with the graphics settings, the CPU by the way can get really hot 90C in some cases mostly when is loading in the game, i do recommend a laptop cooler. Happy with the value of it I will recommend it

Started Great and Then...
**First, the Q&A answer regarding the warranty is entirely misleading and needs to be changed. You do NOT get a one year warranty with this item since it is refurbished.** Apparently you get a 90 day warranty through PlanetROI..? Acer support responds in the comments as if we get a pamphlet or info included in your purchase about this warranty, but NO, you don't. So, good luck contacting this company. Laptop worked great for about three days until it started randomly crashing and freezing while playing Sims 4 on medium graphics. That is the only game I have installed on my laptop right now, so I'm not overloading the RAM or anything. Save yourself the headache, and simply a buy a new one. If you want to gamble with this laptop, be prepared to return within 30 days or face the nonexistent and unclear support for hardware issues within 90 days under the "warranty."

DON'T BUY REFURBISHED FROM TARGET
Got this computer a little over a month ago. All was well, until now. All of a sudden it turns off when not connected to a power source. It's only a little over a month old, I'm so disappointed. I reached out to Target and they said they can't do anything because it's past the 30 day return window, but they told me to contact Acer about my warranty (the warranty we're supposed to get for one year according to the Q&A section on this page). Acer said they couldn't help me and referred me to some company called Gierd. Gierd says they can't do anything because it's past the 30-day return window. Just save yourself the disappointment and buy new if you can, or go somewhere with a straightforward warranty on refurbished products. Target is not honoring the 1-year warranty it advertises in the Q&A section of this product page.

it was a steal but QC needs to improve
first the good. I got it on sale for 550$. I almost couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the price. I bought it on the spot. It looks almost brand new and everything works great. I think the included third party charger and fabric case are actually brand new. I played a little bit of cyberpunk 2077 and it runs great at high settings. fans are a bit loud but it's bearable if you set performance and fans to auto in nitrosense, if your ears are very sensitive or you are in a very quiet environment you might notice it more, headphones are highly recommended for this reason. screen is okay for gaming and normal usage.. not for photo or video editing though. brightness is average. keyboard and trackpad are also fine but I don't use it since I use it with a mouse. usb 4 is a nice adition for fast file transfers. it also doesn't get that hot on normal usage. it's a snappy computer. both ram and storage can be upgraded, it has one empty nvme slot. now the bad out of the box bluetooth did not work. I tried everything software related, even reinstalled windows twice, I was about to return it but then I had the genius idea of opening the back cover to check if the bluetooth cable was disconnected, and bingo. I reconnected the cable to the m.2 wifi/bluetooth adapter and now it works perfectly. the ammount of bloatware this computer has is hilarious. everytime it updates they come back. I had to wipe the ssd and install a clean windows iso to fix it. speakers are stereo, but still bad. this laptop is clearly meant to be used with a headset. I was able to troubleshoot and fix most of the negatives I mentioned above because I'm tech savvy, but these problems would be a deal breaker for the average joe. acer needs to improve their quality control. having said all that, even with all the issues, you cannot get anything better for the price, not even close. its over 600$ now but I still think it's worth it. I'm very satisfied with this product.
