Messy rug

Hello, This rug is made of wool, and it will shed within the first few vacuums and don't put the vacuum bar directly on the rug pile.

Love it!

The rug is nice and tight thus easier to keep clean and, because of the tightness of the fiber, it collects less dust (which is the issue with other carpets -- the shorter fiber and the tightness of the wool is what makes this rug great for people with allergies. In fact I was reading the previous review and I find it funny that person was sneezing etc as the carpet was still being unrolled -- of course!!!!! That's the dust and shipping and whatever else that is on the packaging....... the caret itself is great. There is no smell, the fibers are well done to prevent dust etc collection and therefore they help a lot if a person has allergies.)

Allergenic

The wool is not soft and I had an immediate allergic reaction and sneezing fit as soon as I started to open the wrap. I don’t know what it looks like because I didn’t want to unroll it inside. It has an overwhelming barn odor. I will have to return it. I don’t know what’s going on with Target rugs lately. They are all paper thin synthetic or poor quality overpriced wool. I’m going to have to look elsewhere.
