Powers on and immediately loses picture.

When I received it I immediately charged it and let it charge for several hours. Then when I powered it on, the screen showed only dashed lines after a few seconds. I’ve tried multiple kinds of wall adapters for the usb-c cable that was included (It’s sill that a wall adapter isn’t included) and no amount of charging will get this to work - even if it remains plugged in. It is clearly defective and a common problem for this product according to articles I’ve read. Going to return this product.
