A fun murder mystery
3 1/2 stars rounded up to 4. This book was a good who done it read. I did find it a little long in the sense that it took a while to get to the point. It is about Capri who does serial killer walking tours. Her grandfather was one of San Francisco's famous serial killers. She is also writing a book about him. On one of her tours a woman sees another woman in a window getting strangled. She tells Capri and they call the police. The police find nothing. Capri, being the sleuth that she is continues to investigate. So begins this very interesting story. The author has a fun writing style and you fall in love with Capri and all her sleuthing. It is a fun read with some twists and turns to make for an interesting story.

Engaging read!
What a fun and wonderful book! You wouldn't think that since it's a mystery, but it is a cozy one! The way the story plays out and the way Capri builds her suspect list was great. I liked that she was not a young thing, rather, an older woman into her second career and could use her experiences to help her navigate through the mystery. I think my favorite part was the way she and Detective Petito interacted. Romance at 45+, yes please! I love history and A Tour to Die For had lots of interesting facts about San Francisco and the Barbary Coast. History, a mystery, and a great cast of characters, what else would you want! Five stars because I was engaged from the beginning to the end!
