Heartwarming
January 12, 2025 Who would ever think a stolen kiss could get two young people in so much trouble? But for LeEtta and Benuel it surely did. Their personal plans and dreams were halted when a too young “suitor” told tales out of jealousy. I fell in love with the characters and how they were developed over the course of a few months. It was a heartwarming story that had me grinning at times and sobbing at others. Love was definitely portrayed in more than one character. LeEtta’s grandmother was a favorite of mine in her constant search for a suitor for herself. Nothing like young at heart! I received a complimentary of this novel from the publisher through Celebrate Lit but was not required to write a review.

Delightful Amish Romance!
Endearing characters, a swoon-worthy romance, and laugh-out-loud moments! What more can you expect from a Mindy Steele novel? She's become a leading author in Amish fiction and much of it is because of the respect that she has for her Amish friends and neighbors. She may allow her characters to falter and stumble, but she never fails to showcase their faith and resilience. I couldn't read fast enough to see if Benuel Ropp could resolve his anger toward his family, and I couldn't wait to see if LeEtta Miller would soften his heart. I was also eager to see if Mammi Iola would find her own special friend! You don't want to miss A Stolen Kiss!! I was given a complimentary copy from the author and publisher. These are my thoughts.
