About the Author
Jennifer Lane is an award-winning children's author and a practising witch since the age of 12. She began her career writing for CBeebies Magazine and other BBC preschool titles before turning to nature and magic. As a journalist, she has explored witchcraft for Vogue, The Guardian, Dazed, and the BBC, and she has written several books for adults. Her books for young readers include The Second-Hand Boy (winner of The New Northern Writers Award) and The Black Air (YA, UCLan Publishing). She holds an MA in Writing for Children.
