Wellington Vinyl Trellis

First, I was surprised by how many "parts" had to be assembled. However, I assembled it by myself (a woman) and loved the finished product. The mocha color worked perfectly for our need. For anyone interested, the trellis comes with two sturdy metal ground stakes that fit inside the two outside hollow frame pipes. The instructions recommended using concrete to secure them in the ground. After a little research, I purchased a bag of pea gravel to use instead of concrete. The two holes have to be dug fairly deep. The pea gravel worked very well to secure the whole trellis upright. The coating on the trellis appears to be a painted powder coating on vinyl which looks like it will hold up very well for a number of years.

Windy Area

I live in a very windy area. This trellis is holding up thus far. Also, the vines are readily twining around it. It did take 2 of us to assemble it, but it was not difficult. The worst part was trying to get the stakes in the ground straight so e could fit the trellis over them.
