Sturdy for sheer light curtains and tough enough from a toddler's yank
Easy to install. This curtain rod certainly feels weak that it will not be able to hold heavy curtains, like blackout curtains. I am only using sheer light curtains in my living room. However, it is strong enough to last through my toddler yanking on the curtains below. The screws are too short to tap into the wood studs, so I used anchors on all curtain rod installations. I simply cut out part of the anchor's tips for the areas with a wood stud. I would still recommend this curtain rod, but only use sheer light curtains and be sure to always use the anchors provided!

Don't buy if you plan on using this rod with blackout curtains. The weight of the curtains made the rod bow at the center.
