Put into service about year ago. Tried to take it down as usual for bad weather forecast and the latch that holds up the canopy broke. The latch is plastic, not metal, so be aware.

Just got this umbrella, thought it would be perfect for our deck. Got stand set up and then inserted umbrella. Noticed immature that the fabric was very thin and unlike others I have purchased. Proceeded to ATTEMPT to open umbrella and it won't open far enough to trigger latch that holds it up. Returning immediately.
