This is my Favorite Kitchen Appliance!
It arrived a day early than I expected. I couldn't wait to use it the next day. It was a Friday and a meatless day for me so the first food I fried was a whole fish. Whole fish was not included in their manual, which I find wanting in terms of information and instruction. I had to google the temperature and cooking time for the whole fish. I first brushed the fish with olive oil as suggested and air fried at 400 degree Fahrenheit for 20 minutes on each side, The result was perfect, crispy and greaseless and tasted good. The next food I friend was chicken leg quarter and it did not disappoint. It came out just perfect for me - crispy and delicious. I love this air fryer - good quality for the price, cool to touch, quiet, easy to use, easy to clean and most important, the food tastes good. I love deep fried foods and I've always wished I could have it without the oil and with this air fryer, my wish has been granted. Glory be to God! I highly recommend this Air Fryer, in fact, I just bought another one as a gift for my favorite cousin on her birthday. Whoever invented the air fryer, I thank God for you.

Well worth it!
This is your own personal oven that makes really good food. If you use your oven, your causing huge amounts of heat to cook a little bit of food. This heat escapes into your home every time you open the door. Yep, 10 degrees every time. This wonderful appliance keeps the heat concentrated into a smaller area and that heat cooks your food. I've done a couple chicken thighs on the grill insert while doing fries on the bottom underneath. Everything came out awesome and in less time than using regular oven. Breaded chicken strips, no problem. Fresh real fries, no problem. Anything you want, no problem.

Fry you up some taters!
This air fryer does a terrific job of emulating what a real deep fryer does, without the cost and mess of dealing with murderously hot oil. Do items turn out exactly like they would in a deep fryer? No. But if you use it for all of your "frying" you quickly forget the subtle difference between this and "real" deep-fried food. As a bonus, it does do some things a deep fryer cannot, and does others better. For example, it makes shockingly good grilled cheese sandwiches (try doing that in a deep fryer). Additionally it does a wonderful job on certain frozen items such as egg rolls, which turn out better than they do in a traditional deep fryer.

Great
Im bad about doing reviews, but decided this product deserves one .I used it pretty much every day, sometimes more than once a day. I baked potatoes, chicken, fish, pork chops, beef, whatever I was too lazy to do in the big oven. I even did bacon in it at least once a week and it cooked it perfectly.

What's not to like?
Okay, I wasn't sure about this purchase at first. It's just my husband and me, and I was thinking that the capacity looked a little small if you want to cook a family meal (5.8-qt size). I tried all the quick-n-easy stuff first: frozen onion rings, frozen french fries, corn dogs, tater tots, vegetarian chicken patties. It did a good job on everything and cooked them a bit faster (and crispier) than our toaster oven. Then I was more daring and tried panko-coated green beans and Indian-style curried cauliflower. Good, but I can still bake these in the toaster oven. Then I tried making "fried" chicken in the air fryer. I absolutely love fried chicken, but it always makes me feel sick because it's too greasy for my stomach. This decided me: I absolutely love the air fryer for "fried" chicken. I dipped thighs into flour, then egg, then Kellogg's corn crumb flakes (much better than the panko! Trust me.). It formed that delicious crust that fried chicken has, and it was absolutely delicious. I didn't use any oil at all, but you might need to if you're working with chicken breasts.

My new favorite kitchen utensil
Wow, I love this extra-large capacity air fryer! I expected reasonable results but it exceeded all expectations. I don’t deep fat fry mainly because it’s so unhealthy, but also because of excess calories and the oily aftertaste. This air fryer solves all those problems. It uses a teaspoon of oil or less for a large batch. I use olive oil, so it’s reasonably healthy, the calorie count is relatively low and there’s no oily aftertaste. The frying compartment lifts out from the main pan, so cleaning the non-stick surfaces with soap and water is super easy. I air fry frozen sweet potato fries without additional oil and the results are amazing. Crisp exterior and moist, soft interiors. Best I’ve ever had. Be sure to toss every few minutes to insure your food is crisp on all surfaces. Reaches operating temperature quickly and cooks fast, so it’s significantly less expensive to operate than a standard oven.This is my new favorite kitchen utensil!

Works just fine!
I’ve had my fryer for 4 months and have only positive things to say...it’s easy to clean, the timer works perfectly and the basket drawer slides just fine. No unpleasant smells come from the unit, it has a fan so it will fill your kitchen with the smell of what your cooking.
